Site MapMmmm... morning time.... sneaky sun slipping through my window shades... sleepily turn and bury my face in the pillows, pull big fluffy blankets over my head. So warm and comfy.... so sleepy. So...
HOLY SMOKES!!! What is that noise...!!? Is it an earthquake? Is it a terrorist attack? Is it a riot?
Whatever it is, it's coming from right outside my window!!!!
A glance over at the clock - 7am.
This is right outside my third story window.
What you can't see is that they're power-sawing wood next to the truck.
Later on, some tough looking men in coordinating pink blazers joined in.
Well, I guess it's a good thing I wasn't PLANNING ON SLEEPING anymore. You know, since I didn't have to be at work for another hour and a half. *sigh* Japanese construction workers - they won't work at 1pm in the afternoon on a Wednesday, you know, when you're at work, but they're there at 7am bright and early when you're trying to sleep.
*sigh* Now listening to "Gazebo - I like Chopin"

Reminds me of being back in my first year at UCLA, when they were doing reconstruction on Dykstra Hall.... ... ... ... consequently the very fucking dorm I lived in!! 7AM... sharp.... POUNDING OF CONCRETE FOUNDATION. You know, I kept wondering if it was actually safe for me to be on the 8th floor of a 10 floor building, of which the foundation was being cracked by some pounding machinery... Hey, at least it would have given me an excuse for scale diving... ... ... but it would probably hurt without the parachute huh? hahaha.

P.S. no worries on the unposted comments. I just rant about my pseudo-busy schedule... or a life that's full of chaos... ordered chaos... like the Mandelbrot set. Ooh, I haven't played around with calculating that bullshit for a while... ... ... ... ... maybe my next post will be a lecture on the Chaos Theory of Physics. Oh yeah, people will really enjoy that one, huh?

haha! now you know how i felt this semester, as they were totally RECONSTRUCTING THE STREET I LIVED ON!
the early starting time is definitely not a japanese thing; that's the time the workers started here too.
at least they are almost done though!

Reminds me of how I am now living across from a baseball stadium and hear "When you Wish Upon a Star" over the loud speakers at 8am on a Saturday morning ... hehehe...
By the way, the construction looks like what they're doing on this tv show I saw awhile ago... ^_^
