Okay so I have this three day business trip off in the middle of nowhere starting tomorrow morning and naturally, I haven't even started packing and it's already 10:30pm. Sound familiar?
What's this? Read on to (actually, not) find out!
And of course, foolishly, I told myself I could knock out a full post here on the blog before I went to bed tonight, but despite enjoying a full three cans of Suntory BOSS Cafe Au Lait, alas I can pretty much assure you there is no way I'm going to finish the story of Lindsay, my dear Telemarketer Stalker of yesteryear, in time for you all to read it while I am wasting away in meetings for the rest of the week. *sigh*
Thus dear readers, I am afraid I shall have to tease you with the preview shot of the mystery book above: The Complete Fake History of a Bunch of People Who Don't Actually Exist, and then leave you hanging with a segue into the rest of this post, which consists solely of pictures that have nothing to do with telemarketers or stalkers.
Oh god... I'll never be able to sleep tonight! (OO)::
But as soon as I get back from this meeting - provided I survive - I promise I will tell you all about my telemarketer stalker, touch on my real-estate stalker (sigh) and expound in great detail about my almost pathological inability to say no to people to their faces that lands me in these convoluted situations in the first place.
But for now, enjoy the pictures - organized kinda chronologically for no apparent reason.
Morning
Sunlight on ties waiting to be chosen from...
Plant soaking up the sun on the windowsill...
Mmm... Early morning Starbucks in the quiet city
Afternoon
It's kind of like Sky Worship...
...but heavier and more urban.
Late Afternoon
Canals running through Tokyo
Roppongi Hills again...
I could shoot this place all day.
I can never get enough of the glass and stone and steel...
Urban sprawl along the tracks...
Evening
The weirdness of fluorescent lights...
That strange horizon glow you sometimes get at night...
Shibuya Hachiko-crossing, right before the stampede.

P.S.
The Shibuya Hachiko-crossing....
Holy Freakin Cow. I'm never moaning about rush hour again.

Yay! Finally, the story of your telemarketer stalker! So, excited!
So you're definitely going to Mongolia? But what about Germany? And what about the baby pandas in Vienna? Sad....

Erm, what's that comma doing there? I meant "so excited", apparently.

That coffee drink looks damn good. we don't have anything like that in "these parts." I like the sky worship view, nice angle!

Apropos to nothing - your canned drink pic just had me daydreaming for the last 15 minutes of my absolute favorite drink in the world: Suntory's grapefruit drink, Gokuri. Drool.

For some reason I always assumed that telemarketer stalking was exclusively the province of US telemarketers.
That's beautiful light pollution, by the way!

Everything looks so pure and shiny in your pictures.
Did my letter arrive yet?
