Site MapI happened to have my camera with me as I was walking home yesterday, so I decided to snap a few pictures of that perfect time in day when the sky rapidly changes from the brightness of afternoon to the duskiness of evening in the span of like a half-hour.
There's only photographs in this entry (and they're all HDR images, in case you're wondering why some might seem a little "surreal"), but I just simultaneously posted another entry with a lot of writing below, so make sure to check that out if you want something to read. (I didn't want to confuse people by putting these pictures in a post about an unrelated topic.)

Yeah, you know you recognise this song! J. Ralph is amazing... Can you believe he doesn't even know how to read music?
If your memory needs a little jogging to place this tune, perhaps this will help?
(I *loved* this commercial when it first came out like 8 years ago or whatever. This is the extended version - some people prefer the 30-second "short" version because they feel it was "tighter". Either way, it rocks.)

you know, i think hdr is overrated, but in this case you make it look good! the combination of gold and blue are striking.

WOW these are GREAT! I love sunrise/sunset photos and these are especially bee-yoo-tee-full. If I had to pic a fav it'd be #4 -- love the colors and perpective :)

Thanks for the nice long comment and for offering to write me a referral. Maybe I'll take you up on the latter if my future employer refuses. :)
I'm afraid I never got the card; I asked my sis to keep an eye out even after I left SF but she hasn't seen anything of it. I suspect the neighbours might have taken it by accident. :( But of course I got your email! How else would I have sent you your card? So silly.
Anyway, what news on the postgrad decision and coming back?

btw, utterly unrelated: I see you've a black macbook ; have you had any problems with the mic? Mine has gone nearly deaf, and can hardly pick up sound unless I yell into it (which is why my video was so soft). The isight unit has just been replaced too!
