.

This is my life everyday. Sigh. I work 8 to 10 hours, then I come home, try to cook some dinner, and then sit down to face this:

lsat and 1-kyu study materials

Trying to study for two major standardised tests while working full time sucks. I wish I was a college student again so I could just concentrate on studying. But alas, this is the way things are, so nothing to do but just suck it up and try to plow through it and hope I survive.

I signed up for the LSAT this June (omigod, in like a month and a half!!). You sign up online - make your account, choose a test location, then pay by credit card. The test costs something like $150 (I forget) and basically put your credit card info in, hit "purchase" and then they ... give you a link to a pdf file that contains a single A4 sheet of paper with your name and the test location/date on it. Oh and a generic blurb warning you not to be late and stuff.

It is safe to say that this is pretty much the most anti-climactic online purchase I have ever made in my life. Wow. $150 bucks for a single crappy computer generated piece of paper - and I've even got to print it out myself!? That's quite the racket the Law School Admissions Council has going on there! But what are you going to do? Thems the breaks, I suppose.

Okay off to study. :( Somebody cheer me up.

Now listening to: "Colby O'Donis - What You Got (ft. Akon)"

I like this song somewhat, but this video is just goofy as hell. I mean, I like pretty boys too, but O'Donis looks like a rejected Backstreet Boy. I think it's the lip curl/sneer thing with the eyebrow raised.

Good luck! I thought you were a science major; why law school? *shudder*

The 3A language books are fantastic, aren't they? I have one for 2-kyu. Which other books would you recommend for level 2 and level 1 exams?

You crazy man you. Being a full-time student with a part time job is no fun as it is, I can't imagine it the other way around; especially when it's THOSE exams you're studying for. Good luck and at $150, they should at least give you a rubber ninja toy or something; so you don't feel completely ripped off ;)
