Congratulations!
You did a great job on the usability front, unlike certain design schools that shall not be named here.
Personally, I'm not partial to the background color you chose, but overall the site has a very friendly, macintosh-y look.
I second Felix' proposal to add a comment function to the pic of the day section.

And Yay! to the more frequent updating plan!

Maybe you should try baking a Fanta cake. I remember back when I was in elementary school, cakes with lemon soda in it were the thing to bring for bake sales. Oh, and did you know that Fanta was invented in Germany in 1940, because they couldn't get the syrup for making Coke from the USA due to shipping restrictions?

Birthday Scarf Panda

Happy belated birthday! The big 28 - wow. (Omigod, I'll be there in 5 short months)
I'm sorry I've been so incommunicado recently, I'm insanely busy with my thesis and my sucky job; life is not fun these days. And the weeks are just rushing by, it's fall already - still it feels like I just got back from my vacation at the Baltic Sea.
But, thesis or not, today it is sunny and warm outside, and I will go somewhere, take a couple of pictures and have the biggest White Chocolate Mocha Starbucks has to offer.

Still alive... and at the beach

Glad you're still alive. But who am I to talk - once again I've broken my promise to appear on iChat/Skype; for the second week in a row, no less.

I blame the time difference. Everytime I get home at night and would be able to chat, it's like 4 am in Japan. Or do you want me to call you up at that time? I'd be happy to!

Omigod, I am sobbing with laughter right now!

But, on a more serious note: I know the situation. I, too, can't just be mean to people, tell them I don't like them and to get lost. Which is exactly how I got groped on the subway (again) last night....

By the way, I think Lindsay called me at my job last week. At first she just wanted to place an ad in the personals, but then she ended up telling me her life story, how her husband left her, and how her daughter died, and how maybe she should just kill herself.

France Adventure Pt. I

Another very funny post! Hungry Panda wandering Copenhagen airport....
Which, btw, is the main Scandinavian airport because of its location, I think. It's located on an island called Zealand, very close to Sweden. I think there even is a bridge connecting them (Sweden & Denmark, that is) nowadays.
And about that passport-stamping thing (I'm an insufferable know-it-all, I sure know that): When you're entering one Schengen country (France) coming from another Schengen country (Denmark), no one gives a tiny rat's ass about ID or customs. Maybe the Japanese aren't familiar with that, seeing as it only has been in effect for, like, 20 years now.
