Fingerprinting

i forgot to tell you...one time during a road trip jess and i were on, this woman (who wasn't even looking while backing up in a parking lot...completely her fault) slammed into my car. jess and i started to talk to her, but her and her husband were both speaking in japanese a mile a minute...among other things, they said it was our fault (and they were snippy and mad, too) and they tried two times to drive away without exchanging any info!!! we called the cops, got brought to the police station (the cops hardly looked at us or talked to us)...the whole time the couple was telling the cops it was our fault...but then lo and behold, once it was communicated to them that jess worked for the japanese government (and once they spoke to a japanese co-worker of jess's from city hall), all of a sudden, everything changed! the couple smiled and acted all apologetic, the police were less accusatory and more understanding, and suddenly, it wasn't our fault anymore. miracles in japan! ...

i read this whole entry with gusto but mostly in silence, until halfway through, when i suddenly began muttering "no no no" under my breath. the effect you have on my from halfway across the planet.

Inappropriate...!

oooh i loved this one! for many reasons. one is that i loooove that conan sketch...i hadn't seen it in years. two is that your anecdotes were so funny...i read the whole thing. and i am exhausted right now, so that's saying a lot. three is that i feel like i played a role once in one of your "inappropriate" sketches. "you should really join myspace." ;) many kudos to you pandocity. and stay away from those weird guys, geez.

Bicycle Misadventures

sucks that you have to spend money on a new bike...but new bikes are fun! if i could afford it i'd ship you my bike b/c i don't use it. it's a bmx with front and back pegs and the frame and handlebars glow in the dark. coolest bike ever. in theory anyway.

hey i got a job as a third grade teacher in east harlem! can't wait to read your blogs and see more pics as you put them up. miss you buddy

panda i just started to reread my own comment (see above) and i got all excited that somebody was a big fan of me, no kidding. but then i realized that it was my own comment. all within a span of about 15 seconds, while sitting alone in my apartment. my life is very very sad.

Ouch...

and oh my god! i didn`t notice this until just now but i have that stuffed animal in the picture...well, close to it. but mine is a lot bigger and the little seal has a rabbit costume on instead of the panda costume. jess has the same one as me, only in a different shade. i sleep with mine every night.

the name of jess` sealrabbit is "poppy" and mine is "tarty". don`t ask. :) take care panda!

:) just kidding panda...i hope you`re doing okay! is it a break or a sprain? aw, no more roughhousing and terrorizing for a while, huh? having the handlebars come off while you`re riding fast sounds really scary...hope you`re resting up now and doing okay.
