2008 Autumn Roadtrip - Part IX

OMG i LOVE the first photo of the chairlifts with all those vivid colors and the wonky trees. that place looks like one of my recurring dreams, where i'm in some crazy awesome willy-wonka-crossed-with-lorax-type land, and the sights and colors are so incredible and rich. but then it turns into a nightmare after i've realized i've forgotten my camera. seriously. 2008 Autumn Roadtrip - Part IV

i love the photos in this post, especially the fourth one down, and the one taken while driving on the bridge (i assume). the fourth one down really captures the gloominess of the day, and has a very gothic feel to it. the lines of the castle roof flowing into the city below are great. and the bridge photo looks like it should be on a postcard. it's super modern and clean-looking. i thought of los angeles when i saw it (i've never been to LA, but the image conjured it for some reason).

i am happy that the other naruto is inferior to the one in chiba :)

also, that bridge is awesome! i love it!

Tokyo Throwaway Pics

i really like the first photo. it's interesting and beautiful. i think that the skies, buildings, powerlines, adults, kids, bikes, coffee-drinkers/people-watchers and dog can all combine to make many interesting stories.

Showa Memorial Park

love the photos of the park. i got there a little late so it was too dark to get those nice blue skies. i love the blue sky, yellow leaf, brown branch combo. there was a nice carpet of ginko leaves when i went, but most of them had been shredded! why?!
as everyone was leaving the park once it closed, i saw security holding onto an inebriated man who had apparently just stumbled into a pile of leaves --- ginko leaves were stuck all over the back of his black fuzzy sweater! hehe :)

Painting with Light

I've sat the mighty LSAT as well so I know your pain and anxiety. But I have to say, I think you're way too creative to be stuck in a law office.

Of course, that may be the very thing that will keep you sane once you do arrive in the belly of the beast. :)
