Tokyo Throwaway Pics

wow....Malina and I listen to this song on our way to "where-ever" (she is in charge of the playlist on the ipod in the car... for some reason, the drums in it always remind me of all Prince stuff...
Anyhow, just saw the video for the first time... Now I Am going to want to seduce every Woman I see (just kidding.....)....but hmm R Kelly is looking might fine!

Snow Panda

Fabulous snow shots! Makes me miss the snow in this 80 degree California weather!
Some of the landscape and the houses made me think of Switzerland.
REALLY amazing snow shots! What is a Tanuki?

And JEss, the reason you don't see snow like that is because you are not at high enough Altitude..Go up to Valais! ;-)
Though I don't think Switz has had the snow it used to get, it is not Global Warming, it is the earth Shifting...all of the Swiss Snow is now in Japan. Instead of the Japanese tourists going to Switzerland, it will be the other way around soon! ;-)

Panda Strap

Love your list! Which one has higher priority!?!?
On my list, email Panda back (hee hee), clean out the gutters outside (turns out, since it never rains here I never noticed they were gross and full, now it has been raining here for a week, and water comes out like water falls...pretty cool, but needs to be cleaned out)......obviously writing emails will come before cleaning gutters...

Happy New Year 2008

Happy New Year Panda!
We had a quiet evening at home. Was worn out from all the Christmas craziness and was looking forward to just being alone with my family for once! I know boring, but it was great!
and you? What great tings did you do to celebrate the end of a year and the beginning of a great one?!?!
And funny you mentioned the Chicago to LA train. I was thinking of doing that! I know a couple who did it, I will have to ask to make sure the train is nice and has clean windows! Coming from japan (or Switzerland) it will never BE AS clean though! ;-) But what a fabulous journey it would be!

once again, Panda Man, you have outdone yourself with the photography! Amazing shots.
I think this concept of a Cat PLAY WITH ME store is amazing!
I would die in a place like that as I am allergic to cats. Though I find them adorable, their dander get my sinuses go crazy! ;)
And I bet you if a cat could think Like us, you would put one of their photos in front of them and they would think "DAMN it My eyes look all squinty, and my tail looks long and fat, and my hair could be shinier, why do I alway look so bad in photos!?" I always thought YOU looked good in pictures! Get my point! ;-)
I am going to search online what you are talking about this political changes in Japan. I am looking forward to reading more about it on your blog. so don't take too long...

NO Ben and Jerry's in Japan? though, I love the Moshi. We can get it at our local Trader Joe's (do they have that in Wisconsin-trader Joes).
I CANNOT WAIT TO see all the photos! And yes COW TIPPING! Okay you are right. That is mean. POOR Cows. Do take at least one photo of a Japanese cow and what they eat. I wonder if they are happier then Swiss cows (the California cows claim they are happy, but have you seen what they eat?)

Something similar to this happened to us with Expedia. So I am not using them anymore.
I AM SOo sorry about your trip! That would kill me as I love to travel.

THank you for your post. YES I have an iPhone. I tried to resist, but couldn't resist for too long. And the iPhone is fabulous! ;-)
Yesterday I was a the beach and wish I had taken my Digital SLR with a good lens as the seals and dolphins gave us quite a show and all I had was my point and shoot.
I love your photos! I just added you to my blog roll
Don't you get JAW aches from all the chewing?
Where in Japan are you? I hear about the EQ and the problems with the power plants. YIKES! I live in Southern CAl so we know all too well about EQ's.
