Actually, there’s not much to this post in general. I stopped by Kichijoji the other day, one of my favourite neighborhoods in Tokyo to take a few photos with a friend. This random smattering of pictures is the result.
Other than that, things have been busy but quiet in panda world. I’m hard at work re-writing (re-writing, always re-writing) some of the site back end to make it faster and more efficient – I’ve got some ideas that I’d like to spin off into a separate photo-oriented site, and also a more professionally-oriented design site as well.
In addition to this, I’ve been occupied with the whole working on resumes thing (who doesn’t find fun the prospect of designing a single piece of paper that will potentially determine the course of your life from hereon?), brushing up on some skills (my Illustrator talents (or lack thereof) have been in dire need of some polishing for some time now), and bunch of other stuff related to the future that is heavy, weighty, and unfortunately laden with fast-approaching deadlines.
It’s not all glumness and sour-bamboo-bonbons though. I’ve got some fun trips coming up, as well as a few other surprises in store for the site. Stay tuned!
More pictures after the keep reading link below.
Okay, that’s it for now. Thanks for reading!
Now listening to: “2Pac – Can’t C Me”
2Pac has been dead for 14 years now and he still remains one of the best artists I have ever heard. This song kicks as much ass today as it did when it first dropped back in ’96. (and possibly even more, if you compare it to the crap that passes for rap these days. What kind of f-d up world is it when we lose ‘Pac and get Soulja Boy in return?)
