Painting with Light

Thank you all for your kind wishes in the last post. I really appreciate it!

…So I took the LSAT on Sunday. In short, I don’t think I did as well as I did on the practice exams, but all is not lost. I was scoring quite high on the practice exams so even if the score I get on the actual test is a few points lower than what I’m used to, it should still be good enough to stand a (slight) chance of getting into an okay school. But who knows? Nothing to do now but wait and see. Cross your fingers for me.

Painting with light…

I feel pretty free right now, not having to come home and hit the books every night – if anything, the problem now is trying to figure out what to do with my extra time! There are things that need doing, but it’s quite hot and humid out, so that makes me lethargic and less energetic than normal (and I’m a panda normally, so you can imagine how devoid of initiative I am these days!). I think I might try and work on the website or something. I’ve decided to give myself a couple of weeks off, and then resuming studying for the Japanese proficiency exam beginning of next month. Wow. I must really like standardised tests, I suppose. Either that, or fun is my enemy.

Tonight’s painting with light session powered by Sokenbicha… Yum!

Speaking of fun, I was sitting at my apartment earlier today trying to think of something interesting to do when I decided to try a little impromptu painting with light. Yes, folks, I am bored enough that I actually took the time to set up a remote camera, stand in a darkened bedroom by myself, and wildly wave my mobile phone around trying to spell words in the dark. I’m not sure if that makes me cool or just incredibly pathetic? Maybe I need to try making more friends or something… *laughs*

Will write more later.

Now listening to: Chamillionaire – ridin’
I’ve always liked this song… Krayzie Bone really helps make it come together…

Crossing my fingers! You never know, maybe you did better than you think right now.
The JLPT – maybe I should bring myself to finally taking that one this year. Almost 6 months left to prepare for it, and it might help me get, I don’t know, somewhere. I’ll think about it; maybe I’ll join you in studying?

Ganbatte with the JLPT study. Have you made yourself a little vocab box? I’ve made myself another to try to get back to the standard I was at before, to what purpose I do not know.
Well done on the test – find some fun stuff to distract you from waiting!

What?! I thought you did that on Photoshop or something!
    Aaah, technology!!

Hurrah, good luck with the test results!
PANDA is indeed written in a bold hand.

I’ve sat the mighty LSAT as well so I know your pain and anxiety. But I have to say, I think you’re way too creative to be stuck in a law office.
Of course, that may be the very thing that will keep you sane once you do arrive in the belly of the beast. :)

The painting with light is quite cool, I think.
Thanks for the comments on my blog again! I really appreciate them. Getting a tripod is on the list of things to buy right after a polarizing filter.
Good luck studying for the JLPT… I should get back to that myself.
