POTD: Kua' Aina

Having lived in Japan for quite a while now, I have to say that there aren't too many things that I miss about the States. However, near the top of that short list would be turkey - it's hard to get turkey in Japanese grocery stores, and it's not commonly served in restaurants either. One restaurant that does do a pretty good imitation of a turkey-and-swiss sandwich is the Hawaiian chain Kua' Aina - you can see the lovely Bethann posing here with our sammichs mere moments before they disappeared down our throats.

@Andrew: It's a chain restaurant so there are several across Tokyo and Japan, however the one we usually go to is on the 5th floor of the Marunouchi Building (the original Marunouchi, not the New Maru building) just outside of Tokyo Station (exit from the 丸の内中央出口).

Happy eating!

Nice, Where is this place? The thing I miss most is Ranch Dressing, but I found that at National Market in Azabu. I am generally unwilling to go to costco.
