Shinagawa station at night. I have really conflicted feelings about night time photos. On the one hand, I like them because they are usually visually rich, with intense colouration. On the other hand, I dislike them because they're a lazy way out - there's no real skill in making a (superficially) visually engaging night shot - just whack your shutter speed to bulb, dial down your ISO to cut the noise and expose for a few seconds. Voila. Everything looks more interesting at night, man, even fluorescent bulbs with their eerie (normally ghastly) pale green tint. Meh. Lazy. lazy lazy.
