Random Errands

yeah!! almost done with my speech for tommorrow’s class. The problem is that I only have 6 minutes for the speech, but I tend to be … verbose . So I had to cut out entire sections on the AAUW, gender and society – which makes for a very choppy speech…! How I am supposed to tackle the issue of gender discrimination against boys in the educational system while using overheads and other visual aids…! within 6 minutes is beyond me… *sigh*
I have finished doing my laundry… it feels so good to have clean clothes again! But now i have to iron them, since i forgot to fold them immediately after removing them from the dryer (which requires 225 minutes to dry one load…) (I kid you not, 3 cycles of 75 minutes each…). Unfortunately all we have is one of those tiny ironing boards that sits close to the ground and refuses to stay upright when you move the iron around, so I imagine that this relatively simple task is going to be an exercise in extreme frustration.
I have to remember to get a proof of enrollment from the registrars to submit to my job so they can continue to pay me. Apparently the fact that I haul my 72 lb physics book around with me wherever i go doesn’t constitute sufficient proof that I am still enrolled in school… (apparently they suspect I might carry it with me for the fun or something… we all know that nothing gets the ladies like a guy with a physics books!)
Steph ditched me to do her Chemical engineering homework again. This sucks! I was so looking forward to seeing a movie tonight. Arrrghhhh. Why can’t my friends be more irresponsible like me and just not do their homework…? Hmm? Is that too much to ask?
Okay, I’m up out. Peace.

Why am I still awake? I need to clean my room….
Now listening to DJ Tiesto’s remix of Oakenfold’s “Southern Sun”… Digitally Imported lists it as part of Tiesto’s “In Search of Sunlight 3″
Piece by piece / I release / Once was mine / Now, undone
Turn blue / Like New Orleans / And went down like / The southern sun
I still feel you / Beneath my skin / I am tempted / To throw my senses in
‘Cause it’s easier to fly / Than to face another night of souther sun / And your love is all around
. . .
‘Cause it’s easier to fly / Than to face another night of southern sun / and your love is all around / In the air, to set me free
To set me free… / To set me free… / To set me free…
You last like a sun / I’m deflated / I am pieces of the wind / Unrelated
I still feel you / Beneath my skin / I am tempted / To throw my senses in.
‘Cause it’s easier to fly / Than to face another night of southern sun / And your love is all around / In the air, to set me free
‘Cause it’s easier to fly / In the air, to set me free…
